We take the security of your data seriously. This page summarizes how NewTools protects your information.

Data encryption

All traffic is served over TLS. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Integration tokens you connect (GitHub, Notion, Linear, Slack, Stripe) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored, and are only used to perform the actions you request inside the assistant.

Infrastructure

NewTools runs on industry-leading providers (Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Upstash for caching). Our database is the source of truth; caches are short-lived and hold no source-of-truth data.

AI processing

Your messages, documents, and connected-tool data are processed by our AI providers solely to generate responses. We do not sell your content or use it to train third-party foundation models. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of sub-processors.

Your controls

You can view and delete your saved memory, delete chats and documents, disconnect integrations, and delete your account at any time from Settings.
