TidyText.click is a free browser-based tool that converts markdown from AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini into clean, formatted text suitable for Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and other applications. When you paste AI-generated answers into documents, the markdown symbols (asterisks, pound signs, pipes, backticks) either appear as literal characters or come with unwanted formatting. TidyText.click solves this by converting markdown into real formatting—headings, bold text, lists, tables, and code blocks—that these applications understand natively.

The tool handles all common markdown elements including headings, bold and italic text, bullet and numbered lists, tables, code blocks, links, quotes, checklists, and LaTeX math equations. It also automatically removes hidden Unicode watermark characters, zero-width spaces, and other invisible characters that can interfere with spell-checking and AI-detection systems. Everything runs locally in your browser with no server uploads, account required, or data logging.
